& Non Broadcast Video Experience
I have spent about 15 years working on a wide variety of single and
multi-camera shoots, mainly on location but also in studios. My clients
vary from international corporations to smaller businesses. I work to television
standards shooting concerts, major engineering projects, training courses,
seminars and product launches. I have considerable experience of shooting
from helicopters and fixed wing aircraft, on ships and small boats all around
the world. I have filmed sea trials of ships and submarines and have worked
on many offshore oil and gas rigs and platforms.
I have owned 3 machine edit suites since the 1980s and now have an Avid
online quality digital editing system for the highest quality, flexibility
and most efficient editing.
On graduation I established myself as a freelance advertising and corporate
photographer. This service gradually developed into a video based business
in the 1980's.
As a student I spent 4 years working in studios playing with light and shooting
advertising photographs. I graduated in 1979.
